General truth and fact are different, because:
General truth is something that is true but may be biased/based on the person's opinion.
Fact is something that is true and has also been proved true.

E.g. "She didn't eat lunch today." = General truth
"Bill Gates and Paul Allen are the founders of Microsoft Corporation." = Fact
