What is different between demon and ghost.

Lots of people are talking about something mystery that include demon and ghost.
Both of them are not the same so...What is the difference between demon and ghost??
I haven't seen the demon or ghost before. But there're lots of people describe both of them in the difference ways.
Demon is the kind of religion of people. Some people believe that we have to respect the demon. Demon don't actually look like normal human (it's not a human) some look big some look small difference colors and most of them look scary.
Ghost is the kind of dead human soul that we can observe example we can hear ,see or we can feel. Some people said that if anybody has six sense(can communicate with the things that normal people can not see) they will have lots of percentage to observe both of them easily.
But this is the thing that science cannot prove and it doesn't mean that you have to believe all of them. It's up to you.
